Advanced Passives: Reporting & Get-Passive

Reporting Passive Nedir? (“It is said that…”)
Reporting passive, yani “raporlama pasifi”, duyduğumuz, okuduğumuz veya genellikle toplumda kabul gören bilgileri kimin söylediği belli olmadan aktarmamıza yarar.

Get-Passive
Get-passive” yapısı, klasik “be + V3” pasif yapısının daha samimi ve günlük dilde kullanılan versiyonudur.
Genellikle beklenmeyen olaylar, kazalar, kaza sonucu olanlar için tercih edilir.
Yapısı:
Subject + get + V3 (past participle)
| He got fired last week. | Geçen hafta kovuldu. |
| My phone got stolen. | Telefonum çalındı. |
| She got hurt in the accident. | Kazada yaralandı. |
Resmi yazılarda yerine genellikle“be-passive” tercih edilir.
| He got promoted. | He was promoted. | Günlük dil – Resmi dil |
| They got married. | They were married. | Daha kişisel ifade – Nötr anlatım |
